A person should not live alone when:

 

· Weight loss is apparent

· Agitation, aggression, paranoia, confusion, delusions, hallucination, suicidal thoughts are evident

· Incidents of house floods, fire or misuse of appliances

· Evidence of expired foods or lack of food in the house

· Falling

· Forgets to take medication or makes medication mistakes

· Increased emergency room visits or physical complaints

· Evidence of domestic violence, including the person injuring a neighbor, friend or caregiver

· Frequent calls to police or emergency services

· Wondering outside and getting lost

· Call family frequently because she forgot she already did
